Why sie sind verheiratet and no sie sind verheiraten?
Hi Argelia,
“verhairatet” means married. “
Sie sind verheiraten” is wrong because it would mean “they are marry.” And the verb “verheiraten” is only used if, for example, a priest gets 2 other people married, not himself.
